Racó Del Pastor
In a unique setting surrounded by mountains and nature lies the Racó del Pastor estate, traditionally dedicated to breeding purebred horses and recently adapted for all types of celebrations.
For centuries, the 120,000 square meters that make up the estate have belonged to an area of the municipality of Orba known as "Racó Pastor," where there was an ancient corral used by transhumant shepherds to stable their animals during their travels across the various regions of the Marina, with the caretakers staying at the site overnight.
Spaces
Gardens and Ceremonial Area:
At the top of the estate, with spectacular views of the mountains and sunset, you will find the gardens, pool, and ceremonial area. A beautiful garden, perfect for cocktail receptions under the shade of carob trees, olive trees, and palm trees. There is a terrace with a pool, and crowning all of this, a spacious ceremonial area for celebrating your marriage alongside your guests.
Main Hall:
The largest covered space, fully adaptable for any event. Built with noble materials from the area such as stone, old mud bricks, solid wood, and reed, all combined with modern and functional elements that give the hall a unique decorative air. But the most impressive feature is the large glass windows at the back of the hall, offering breathtaking views of nature and meadows with mares and foals grazing freely. It is undoubtedly a unique and exclusive setting at Racó del Pastor.
Central Courtyard:
A beautiful Mediterranean-style courtyard forms the central axis of the entire estate. At the center, a four-way fountain presides over this spacious area, surrounded by typical buildings such as the Riu-Rau, the Hall, and the Oil Mill, with stunning natural stone walls. The pavement of the courtyard stands out, featuring a beautiful combination of cobblestones, old clay tiles from the region, and aged cobblestones, giving the space a unique and exclusive character. Spectacular night lighting decorates and enhances the charm of this open-air plaza.
Stables:
This is where the estate’s most prestigious colts and stallions were raised. Today, the space has been repurposed, though the original stables are preserved. These are now exhibition spaces without horses staying overnight. It is ideal for small events, cocktails, celebrations, presentations, exhibitions, or photo shoots with horses, among others.
Gorrafers Street:
Beneath century-old carob trees, with charming views of the surrounding mountains, any more intimate or family-oriented event can be held here. An added attraction is that Gorrafers Street is located next to the old Blacksmith’s Shop and the Stables, two of the most enchanting spaces on the estate.
